The Bianconeri welcome Luciano Spalletti’s side to Turin this Sunday, looking to extend their Serie A winning run to 11 matches.
“They’re definitely one of the best teams in the League,” Zaza acknowledged in an interview with JTV.
“They’ve always been competitive, and there’s a big rivalry with Juventus, especially in recent years.
“They’ll have a grudge, because they’ve never managed to win the League over Juventus, so it’ll be a difficult game.
“However, if we play with our mentality we’ll bring home the result.”
Zaza has scored six goals in all competitions since arriving from Sassuolo this summer, and was asked which of them was his favourite.
“They’re all important, because I scored them in a Juventus shirt. The most exciting one was maybe the one in the Champions League against Sevilla, my first goal in Europe.
“But also the two goals against Torino were just beautiful. After [the 1-0 defeat to] Sassuolo it hasn’t really been a change of mentality, but in terms of hunger.
“I hadn’t really understood what it meant to play here, and a lot of the young players were like me.
“At that moment the season changed for Juventus, and now we’re a totally different team. The quality is still the same, but the approach has changed.”
