The brother of Mauro Zarate has dismissed fears that the forward will be leaving Lazio over the summer.
Zarate's future has been placed into some doubt given his sometimes frosty relationship with boss Edy Reja.
However, speaking from Buenos Aires, Sergio Zarate has insisted that the player will be remaining in Rome.
"I can reassure everyone that he is staying," the former Ancona flop, and agent, stated. "Maurito belongs to Lazio and that will continue.

"He has a contract which still has another three years to run on it and I can say that he will remain with the club.
"I repeat, Mauro is happy in Rome and has already made a decision about his future – he's chosen Lazio."
The South American made 35 League appearances for Lazio in the last campaign, scoring nine goals.
