Cristian Zapata says the 2-2 draw between Milan and Roma last night was a fair reflection of the game.
The Diavolo went behind on two occasions, but Zapata and Sulley Muntari netted to salvage a point for the home side.
“We gave them the second goal, but the draw is the right result for both teams,” the Colombian international noted.
“I’m happy with the game and the performance and I dedicate my goal to my wife and daughter. I gave everything in this match and it’s important to know that CEO Adriano Galliani holds me in high esteem.”
The centre-back was also questioned on the Champions League after his side were yesterday paired with Atletico Madrid in the last 16.
“It will be an emotional experience,” explained the former Udinese and Villarreal stopper. “Atletico are a strong team, but there’s a lot of time between now and February.
“We’ll try and prepare things as best we can for those two matches. We’ll try and get there in top form and play a great game.”
