Javier Zanetti called the Coppa Italia with Juventus “a big opportunity to prove what it means to wear the Inter shirt.”
The Vice-President spoke to Rai Sport ahead of tonight’s semi-final, having lost the first leg 3-0.
“For us every match is a big opportunity to prove what it means to wear this shirt. The other night when I spoke after the game, I said there was a big responsibility for everyone to represent this club and we must all give more to emerge from this negative moment.

“Unfortunately over the last two months we made too many mistakes. Until Christmas we were top of Serie A and a very solid side.
“We must rediscover the confidence and solidity that got us there. We have to give even more now to return to being that team.”
Much has been said about the Inter debt and struggles with Financial Fair Play, so how crucial is getting into the Champions League?
“The objective of Champions League qualification is very important, we all know that. For the moment we have to leave the economic situation to one side and focus on the pitch.
“Winning games is the only way we can regain confidence and put us in a condition to recapture third place.”
