And the veteran defender has insisted that 'there is no Inter without Moratti'.
“What I do know is that [President Massimo] Moratti will do whatever is good for Inter,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“The President will assess, evaluate and then assess again.
“Inter will always be Moratti, however things change.
“I am currently doing physical therapy, cycling, gym – that sort of thing.
“The tendons seem to be responding well. Hopefully soon I'll increase my work-rate.”
The Argentine then gave his opinion on new Coach Walter Mazzarri and the departures of Dejan Stankovic and Antonio Cassano.
“Mazzarri has always shown that he has determination and character as a Coach.
“It sometimes looks like he wants to be a Serie A player as well.
“He wanted Inter, he wanted to come to us. And that should stimulate the whole squad.
“I also want to say goodbye to a warrior. I want to thank Dejan for everything that he has given us.
“He is a real fighter, an exemplary professional.
“Cassano? I will not go into that matter – I will just say that we had an honest relationship.”
