Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini confirms Milan are in talks to sign defender Ezequiel Munoz.
The Uruguayan is out of contract at the end of the season, so is free to hold talks with other clubs and move when his contract expires in July.
However the Rosanero patron hints that the Rossoneri are trying to tie up a deal for January, as they're talking to the club's sporting director Franco Ceravolo.
“There’s been an intervention from Milan,” Zamparini told MilanNews.
“They’re dealing with my sporting director. I can confirm that Milan have come in on this deal [between the player and Palermo].
“Munoz hasn’t signed a renewal, and we’re focused on other players.
“[However] He’s a lad who cost me €6.5m when he was 20 years old, and I don’t intend to just give him away.”
