Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini claims Roberto De Zerbi ticks both of his boxes in that he is “young” and has a “winning mentality”.
De Zerbi was confirmed as Palermo’s new boss on Tuesday, replacing Davide Ballardini just two games into the season, and Zamparini is confident he has unearthed a gem in the former Foggia trainer.
“I chose De Zerbi because I’ve always tried to appoint Coaches that are young and, above all, with a winning mentality,” he told Radio Kiss.
