The Gazzetta dello Sport is suggesting that the deal which could see Parma’s Cristian Zaccardo join Milan in exchange for Djamel Mesbah is back on.
The two Serie A clubs discussed the swap option earlier this month before admitting that negotiations had stalled.
However, talks appear to have re-started and the transfer could be completed before the January window closes.
The Gazzetta claims that there is one hurdle that will need to be hurdled, though, and that is to do with Zaccardo’s contract.
Milan are prepared to offer the 2006 World Cup winner an agreement until 2015, but the 31-year-old would like a longer deal.
