The French centre-back stunned Europe with an acrobatic overhead kick from outside the area, just a week after ex-Diavolo Zlatan Ibrahimovic did a similar thing versus England.
“Mexes scored a fantastic goal,” the Colombian stopper noted. “It reminded me of Ibra’s strike and I’d like to score one like that as well!”
Milan have had a problematic campaign, but they have booked their place in the next round of the European Cup with a game to spare.
“That was our objective,” the former Chievo man added. “It was a tough game. After the 2-0 they threw everything forward looking for the draw.
“We did well in the first 10 minutes of the first half without making the most of a couple of good chances.
“The rest of the first half was complicated then, in the second half, we found space and with the characteristics of our attackers it became easier.
“Now we’ll think about Sunday against Juventus, but we’re happy about the qualification.
“With this game behind us now we can think about working for another important game for us and our fans.”
