The Pole is believed to be on the transfer market following the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio stated that Aston Villa have made a formal bid for Piatek yesterday.
Now, Sport Mediaset are suggesting that The Hammers have joined the race, tabling their own offer, believed to be in the region of €28-30m.
Piatek was only signed a year ago by the Rossoneri from Genoa for €35m, but after a bright start in Milan the Poland international has struggled, scoring only five times in the last six months.
The report also claims that German side Bayer Leverkusen are interested in signing Piatek, but that the striker would prefer a move to England.
Piatek has been made surplus to requirements at San Siro following the signing of Ibrahimovic, with Rafael Leao believed to be preferred ahead of the Polish striker.
