West Ham United are reportedly very close to Inter midfielder Joao Mario, with just a €1m [£870,000] gap between offer and valuation.
The Hammers are keen to take the Portuguese midfielder on loan this month, and he’s currently out of favour under Luciano Spalletti.
Yesterday it was reported that they had agreed to pay Joao Mario’s wages until the end of the season, but wanted a free loan.
Now calciomercato.com reports that West Ham are offering €1m for the six month loan, while the Nerazzurri are insisting on €2m.

The gap is far from unbridgeable though, and it’s expected a deal will be found in the coming days.
Previous reports have stated that there will be a €30m [£26.4m] option to buy in the summer, not an obligation.
