Massimiliano Allegri’s side are strong favourites to progress, going into the fixture with a 4-0 aggregate lead from the first leg.
Whilst Arsenal manager Wenger is no different in suggesting which way the game will go, he has promised that his team will present a difficult 90 minutes for the Italian side.
“I said I don't live in a dream world,” the French tactician told The Telegraph on Monday.
“That means I know we have not created an easy situation, but when you are a top-level competitor, even if statistically we have a five per cent chance, what is important is that we believe that we can be in this five per cent chance.
“That is what is at stake for us – to show that we have the quality to believe we can do it, even if it is only five per cent. Let us make sure that we do not miss out chance because we did not believe in it.”
Only three times before has a club in European competition turned around a four-goal deficit in the second leg of a knockout fixture, each occasion coming in the mid-1980s.
Milan were the victims of a 4-0 thrashing in Spain in 2004 when Deportivo La Coruna turned around a 4-1 score-line to progress in that edition of the Champions League.
