“Anything is possible, we saw yesterday Bayern Munich went out even though they played much better than Real Madrid,” the German told Mediaset Premium.
“Roma have already done it a few weeks ago with Barcelona, they know what they have to do. You need some luck too, always, but Roma are strong and they know it.”
Mohamed Salah returns to the Stadio Olimpico for the first time since leaving the club last summer.
“Salah is a very talented player, extremely quick and has become even better over the last year, but I hope he doesn’t score tonight.
“The key will be in the defence and Edin Dzeko.”
