The agent of Emiliano Viviano will ask Inter to allow his client to finish the season on loan at another club.

The Italian international wants the chance to play regular football again seeing as he has almost recovered from knee ligament damage sustained in pre-season.

“We have already agreed with Inter that we will meet after January 8 to evaluate the situation,” representative Claudio Vigorelli told Sportnews.eu.

“The idea is to join another club for six months in order to give him the chance to become a playing protagonist  again.

“We hope that Inter will agree to it seeing as if he does leave then it will only be on a loan basis.”

Viviano, whose hopes of first team football at San Siro are blocked by Julio Cesar, moved to Inter in the summer from Bologna.

He was set to sign for Genoa before the start of the season until he was ruled out of action for six months.

Viviano, who had emerged as Italy’s second choice behind Gigi Buffon, wants to prove his fitness and form ahead of Euro 2012.
