Patrick Vieira believes Inter are the “ideal club” for Geoffrey Kondogbia, especially with Roberto Mancini.
The former Nerazzurri midfielder is now a Coach at youth level for Manchester City.
“Can Kondogbia become the new Vieira? That’s a difficult question to answer,” he told fcinternews.it.
“I can say that I like him very much as a player and as a person. He’s a really good lad, very polite and has his head on his shoulders.

“I can say that I like him very much as a player and as a person. He’s a really good lad, very polite and has his head on his shoulders.
“I am sure he will do very well in Milan with the Inter jersey on his back. Inter is the ideal club for him to grow and especially with Mancini, a Coach I know very well.
“Geoffrey made the right choice and with Euro 2016 on the horizon he can have a great season in Serie A.”
Inter have also been linked with Olympique Marseille midfielder Giannelli Imbula, who is of interest to Milan and Napoli.
“He too is very young and has the necessary qualities to become important in future. Physically he is strong, can score and set up teammates.
“Imbula, Kondogbia and Paul Pogba are the best young talents in French football. They could easily play together too. Imbula is very tactically disciplined and helps balance the side, while Kondogbia can push forward and let his physicality explode.”
Mancini took over from Walter Mazzarri mid-season, so this will be his chance to mould the team to his specifications.
“Mancio is certainly the right man to take Inter back to the top,” continued Vieira.
“I really like Mateo Kovacic, but cannot forget Mauro Icardi, who despite his young age is already a decisive striker.”
