Nemanja Vidic admits he wants to follow in the footsteps of Dejan Stankovic and become a Coach when he retires.
Stankovic has become assistant manager to Andrea Stramaccioni at Udinese and Inter defender Vidic is happy for his old Serbia teammate.
“Dejan was excited, he’s enjoying this role and hopefully in future he will be a first team Coach,” said Vidic in a Press conference.
“He has experience and worked with a lot of great managers. I think I’ll get my Pro Licence in a few years and then maybe we can play against each other!”
The former Manchester United star was asked if he was considered a reference point for the younger players, being more experienced and accustomed to Europe.
“I believe it is always about the team. Of course we have a few experienced players here who could be an example for how the young players should train and behave, but one man doesn’t make a difference.
“At Inter it is significant that we have to be a good team, a good group and have a chance to achieve what we’re looking for.”
