Granada goalkeeper Luís Maximiano arrived in Rome on Tuesday ahead of his proposed move to Lazio.
The 23-year-old arrives less than 24 hours after Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli as Lazio kickstart their summer transfer window.
A new goalkeeper was one of the prime targets for Maurizio Sarri with Thomas Strakosha and Pepe Reina having left this summer.
Lazio started their pre-season without a first or second-choice goalkeeper.
Maximiano, 23, joined Granada 12 months ago from Sporting CP in his native Portugal.
