Inter trained at Appiano Gentile ahead of their trip to Liverpool and there are reports that Alexis Sanchez or Joaquin Correa could start in place of Edin Dzeko tomorrow.
The Nerazzurri will be looking to bounce back after a 2-0 loss in the first leg at the Stadio Meazza three weeks ago. Simone Inzaghi said that Inter must score in the first half to keep their qualification hopes alive. According to Calciomercato.it, the Italian tactician tried Alexis Sanchez and Lautaro Martinez in Inter’s attack during this morning’s training session.
Sky Sport Italia reports Dzeko is still the favourite to start, although both Sanchez and Joaquin Correa have a chance to get a spot and replace the Bosnia international.
La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper also reports that the former Lazio striker could get the nod tomorrow night. Nicolò Barella will be suspended and Arturo Vidal is the favourite to replace the Italy international in the middle of the park.
