Adriano Galliani doesn’t want to ‘end the friendship’ with José Mourinho, so he won’t reply to the coach’s mocking gestures towards Monza’s bench.

The Roma boss mocked Monza players on Sunday after seeing Stephan El Shaarawy score a late winner against the Brianzoli at the Stadio Olimpico.

Galliani attended a Lega Serie A meeting in Milan on Monday and was asked to comment on Mourinho’s gestures. The Monza director replied with a smile: “Mourinho is an old friend of mine, so I don’t want to end the friendship.”

Mourinho was sent off after mocking Monza players on the bench, so he will be suspended when Roma visit Inter at the Stadio Meazza on Sunday.
