Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Verratti has silenced rumours that he could become the latest player to be represented by Mino Raiola.

Whispers started to circulate that the Italian international would be ending his relationship with his current agent in favour of a switch to Raiola’s team of players.

“With respect to the reports and rumours of negotiations with Mr Mino Raiola, I can categorically deny any kind of agreement or presumed agreement,” he underlined in a statement.

“I reiterate that my interests are and will continue to be looked after by lawyer Donato Di Campli, someone I place my complete confidence in.”

Verratti, who joined Paris SG last summer after a €12m transfer fee was agreed with Pescara, has been linked with a return to Italy with Juventus and Milan.

Raiola has close links with Italian clubs seeing as he represents PSG’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Juventus’ Paul Pogba and Milan’s M’Baye Niang.
