Hellas Verona President Maurizio Setti is sure new signing Luca Toni “is a guarantee, not a gamble.”
The club earned promotion into Serie A this summer and former Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”18″>Fiorentina centre-forward Toni put pen to paper on a one-year contract this week.
“We are very happy with the transfer operation that brought Toni here to us,” President Setti told Radio Sportiva.
“Luca is a guarantee, not a gamble. We chose him for the hunger he still has, his experience and determination.
“He will not just be a man with charisma in the locker room, as his qualities as a player are beyond dispute.”
