It is reported that Verona are considering the future of Coach Fabio Pecchia after today’s 3-0 defeat to Crotone.
The Scaligeri’s woeful performance, in addition to a damaging loss against their relegation rivals, caused fans to protest outside the Stadio Bentegodi after the final whistle.
Pecchia insisted in the aftermath of the match that he would not be resigning, despite his side falling five points shy of safety.

It remains to be seen whether President Maurizio Setti will take action after furious fans made their feelings clear following today's debacle.
In spite of Verona’s struggles so far this season, the position of Pecchia – who guided the club to promotion last season – has never been under serious question before today.
However, the nature of this afternoon’s loss appears to have changed that. Gianluca Di Marzio reports that a meeting will be held by the Verona hierarchy tomorrow, with a decision on the tactician's future likely to be made then.
Should the Scaligeri part ways with Pecchia, the early favourite to take over as Coach appears to be Mimmo Di Carlo.
The 53-year-old was in the crowd at the Bentegodi today and was most recently in charge of Serie B side Spezia.
