Torino host Brommapojkarna in the Europa League and Giampiero Ventura thanks fans for a full stadium.
The Granata have one foot in the next round after winning the first leg 3-0 in Sweden, but this match kicks off in Turin on Thursday at 19.30 UK time (18.30 GMT).
“Tomorrow’s match represents a great objective we achieved from the first day we started,” said Coach Ventura.
“We began with 10,000 fans to watch the friendly with Lumezzane, a sign from the fans that they wanted to be here. The 20,000 tomorrow are not here to watch the game, but to say: ‘We are back!’
“In these three years we showed how seriously we took the matter and with such determination. I think this is why the stadium will be packed tomorrow. These fans wrote pages in the history books.
“I and the squad thank all the fans who never abandoned us, even during moments of difficulty. This game has to be a celebration and we need to ensure it can feel like that by getting a good result. It’s important to keep moving forward.”
Fabio Quagliarella, Matteo Darmian and Alessio Cerci missed the first leg, but are still not 100 per cent fit.
“The pitch will tell us what we are and what we want to become. There is a lot of work to be done, but I am not worried because I see the same hunger we had last year.
“How far can we go in Europe? For me the target is to have fun, entertain the fans and give them some memorable emotions. Of course, all this will only make sense if we can reach the group phase of the competition.”
