Matias Vecino suggests parent club Fiorentina invest in Empoli talents like Manuel Pucciarelli, Lorenzo Tonelli and Mario Rui.
The Uruguayan joined the Azzurri on loan in August 2014, notching up 20 Serie A appearances and one goal.
“Fiorentina are a great team and even here in Empoli there a lot of Viola supporters,” Vecino told Italia 7.
“They are strong and they can aim for third place. Here in Empoli there are some players that could help their cause, like Pucciarelli, Tonelli or Mario Rui.

“Vincenzo Montella and Maurizio Sarri are two tacticians who can do well even on the biggest stage.
“I'm convinced that I can lend a hand in Florence next season. I want to help the Viola in future.”
Even so, the 23-year-old has no regrets about his loan to a smaller club.
“I'm happy about my experience with Empoli so far, and I hope to keep this up. We won against Cesena and we want to keep notching points, so we'll try against Milan too.
“It was only fair that I should build experience away from Florence. In both Empoli and Cagliari I had the opportunity to develop.”
