Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini announces “I’ll sell Franco Vazquez abroad”.

The Italian international has enjoyed another fine season, despite the Rosanero being involved in a relegation battle, providing seven goals and seven assists.

Despite links with Milan and Napoli, it now appears that the 27-year-old will be leaving Italy in the summer.

“We won’t hold on to Vazquez,” Zamparini revealed in an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

Despite links with Milan and Napoli, it now appears that the 27-year-old will be leaving Italy in the summer.

“We won’t hold on to Vazquez,” Zamparini revealed in an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“There’s a market for him to leave, we’re dealing with some international clubs. I’ll sell him abroad.

“I don’t think there’s anyone in Italy who can afford him, and besides we’re talking about one of the best trequartiste in Serie A.”

The Sicilian side will retain their Serie A status if they beat Verona next Sunday, but Zamparini claims he will stick with Coach Davide Ballardini regardless.

“I’m happy for the fans and with the work done by Ballardini, who will try to save us again next year as he has a two-year contract.

“Now we’ll try and win the game against Hellas so we can save ourselves and enjoy Sunday night.”
