Edu Vargas’ agent has confirmed talks are ongoing with Valencia and that a loan move from Napoli could be agreed shortly.
The Chilean youngster is back with the Vesuviani after spending the entirety of 2013 out on loan with Gremio, but has been strongly linked with another temporary move away from the San Paolo.
It is increasingly understood that Valencia are closing in on the 24-year-old’s temporary capture and the forward’s agent has suggested such negotiations are progressing nicely.

“We have been in discussions with the directors at Valencia for a while,” Cristian Olgade has told Superdeporte this week.
“I believe that the deal is reaching its conclusion. It is possible that an agreement may be reached during this week.
“Valencia is one of the most important clubs in Spain and Edu has followed them since he was in Chile.
“The boy needs to play given that there are four months until the World Cup.”
