Dutch right-back Gregory van der Wiel has reportedly undergone a medical with Cagliari.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, Van der Wiel arrived in Milan on Monday morning for medical tests ahead of signing a contract with Cagliari.
The transfer expert describes him as “the defender of talent and experience needed by Coach Massimo Rastelli”.
The 29-year-old began his career at Ajax, making almost 200 appearances for the Eredivisie giants, before joining Paris Saint-Germain in 2012.
