Empoli midfielder Mirko Valdifiori admits ‘I’ll probably leave’ if the club accepts a transfer bid, with Napoli interested.
The playmaker has impressed since being promoted with the Tuscan side, winning a call-up to Antonio Conte’s Italy side.
Maurizio Sarri has left Empoli to move to Naples, and with speculation that Valdifiori could follow him, the player is open to a move.
“Empoli will assess the situation,” the 29-year-old told Radio CRC.

“Empoli will assess the situation,” the 29-year-old told Radio CRC.
“If they find an agreement with another club then I’ll probably leave. At the moment I’m at home with my family, and maybe I’ll go on a little holiday.
“Napoli? It’s a source of pride for me to be linked to a club like that, but I haven’t spoken to them, or to my agent. I’d need the club’s [Empoli’s] permission first.
“It would be nice to play with [Marek] Hamsik and other top players.
“For now though, I don’t know anything about my future.”
