Manchester United are ready to pay Napoli full-back Faouzi Ghoulam’s €60m release clause, according to reports in Italy.
The Algerian international signed a new deal with the Partenopei last month, but there’s a release clause in his contract which is valid for foreign clubs.
According to Rai Sport, the Red Devils have made it clear they’re willing to pay that fee, which would allow them to negotiate with Ghoulam.
For that reason, Napoli have taken steps to sign Benfica’s Alejandro Grimaldo for next season.
