UEFA’s decision on Milan’s Financial Fair Play sanction could be delayed until as late as Monday, but it’s expected they will be thrown out of the Europa League.

The Rossoneri saw both a voluntary agreement and a settlement agreement rejected, so are waiting to see what sanctions they’ll face.

A decision was expected to be announced yesterday, but today’s Gazzetta dello Sport believes it could arrive as late as Monday.

However, the newspaper does not believe this should be taken as a positive sign for the Diavolo.

A decision was expected to be announced yesterday, but today’s Gazzetta dello Sport believes it could arrive as late as Monday.

However, the newspaper does not believe this should be taken as a positive sign for the Diavolo.

Milan presented a 25-page dossier to UEFA, which included a guarantee from hedge fund Elliott Management guaranteeing the club will continue as a going concern.

Despite that, it’s expected the Rossoneri will be thrown out of the Europa League, with financial tests to be passed before they’ll be re-admitted to UEFA competition.

The five judges are thought to be in agreement, with the delay simply related to writing the reasons for the judgement, which they want to be as detailed as possible.

Milan will appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport if they’re expelled, so UEFA need their judgement to be as solid as possible.
