Milan’s Cristian Zapata has spoken of the boost a win over Udinese would give the team ahead of their Champions League second leg with Atletico Madrid.
The Colombian defender is back at Milanello from international duty and says Saturday’s trip to Friuli-Venezia-Guilia is vital for building confidence.
“Udinese aren’t doing too well at the moment but it will be a difficult game as they will want to win at all costs,” Zapata said to the Milan Channel.
“Winning in Udine would give us the ideal boost for when we go to Spain on Tuesday.
“We know we will have to give everything to win and we will do everything possible to bring the three points home.
“It is a difficult place to go to. Di Natale will be dangerous, these are his kinds of games, we must be alert.
“Against Atletico it will hard but we need to try to be aggressive and get through to the next round.”
