Udinese have reacted with surprise to reports that Inter are showing an interest in Coach Francesco Guidolin.

The Nerazzurri could ponder making a managerial change at the end of the season and Guidolin, fresh from winning the Panchina d’Oro award, is being named as a possible option.

“To be honest, I’d not heard about this,” Udinese sporting director Fabrizio Larini told ilsussidiario.net on Wednesday.

“Clubs may be interested, but we know that Guidolin wants to stay here with us in Udine,” continued the official.

“He has a contract with Udinese until 2015 so we haven’t really considered that he could leave. His contract doesn’t include a rescission clause in it either…”

Guidolin started his coaching career in the late 1980s, but he’s never been given an opportunity at a really top club.

He joined Udinese for the second time in his career in the summer of 2010 after two years at Parma. He’s also taken charge of teams such as Atalanta” data-scaytid=”22″>Atalanta, Vicenza, Bologna, Palermo and Monaco.
