Milan talent Manuel Locatelli has received his first call-up to the Italy Under-21 side for the clash with Lithuania.
The 18-year-old scored his debut Serie A goal in last week’s 4-3 win over Sassuolo at San Siro.
The midfielder has now been called up by Coach Gigi Di Biagio for the Italy Under-21 side.
Locatelli had been with the Under-19 team in Portugal, but today will be with the Azzurrini for training.
On Tuesday the Under-21s will play Lithuania in Kaunas, the final qualifier for the European Championships.

As Serbia beat the Republic of Ireland 3-1 last night, Italy need only a point to ensure automatic qualification.
Locatelli was brought in because Marco Benassi of Torino was re-routed to the senior Italy squad.
Benassi is a replacement for Locatelli’s Milan teammate Riccardo Montolivo, who had surgery this morning for a torn anterior cruciate ligament and will be out for five to six months.
