Anatoliy Trubin continues to drop hints on social media that he is waiting for the call to complete his transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk to Inter.

Over the last few days, he has replied to a few different messages regarding Inter with the same emoji – eyes.

He did it again when a supporter wrote ‘COME TO INTER’ on his Instagram and it caught the attention of others, who joined in urging him to arrive at San Siro.

With Manchester United widely expected to do a deal for Andre Onana next week at €55m plus €5m in bonuses, that frees up two goalkeeping slots at San Siro.

Samir Handanovic’s contract has already expired and he could be released this summer, if they are unable to find a suitable replacement.

The idea is for Inter to have Trubin and a more experienced figure to work with him during the debut season.

There appear to be two major options, Yann Sommer of Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur veteran Hugo Lloris.
