The squad's first training camp kicked off at Trigoria today and Roma TV picked up statements by the players as they came in, including Captain Totti and Coach Garcia.
“I’m pleased we’re starting up again,” said Totti. “I’ve played for many seasons but luckily I’m still here.
“I’m honored to have worn only one jersey so I’m grateful for that.

“Summer is always nice as you don’t have to worry about anything, but then you look to get back in shape and prepare for the new season.
“Players are always full of adrenaline and desire at this point.”
Garcia echoed Totti's eagerness and said he prefers being at Trigoria than on holiday.
“There’s always a great deal of enthusiasm,” said the Frenchman.
“I couldn’t wait to get started again because although the summer is great, working is much better.
“It’s a new experience, it’ll be a new group but we’ll all be giving 100% to make sure we have a great season and continue to build on the previous two.”
