There has been chaos and controversy ever since the December 5 game was suspended with Padova 1-0 up due to floodlight failure.
As the home team and therefore responsible for the stadium, Torino successfully argued that Padova should pay for the suspension by handing a 3-0 victory to them.
However, today the Federal Court of Justice accepted Padova’s appeal against that decision, so the original 1-0 result has been restored.
It means Torino go from 70 points to 67, while Padova rise to 59 and are right back in the promotion chase.
