According to Sky Sport Italia, Nikola Vlasic will have his Torino medical on Tuesday after the club finally struck a deal with West Ham United for €12.7m.

The creative midfielder had spent last season on loan with the Granata, where he scored five goals and provided six assists in 34 Serie A appearances.

He was very open in expressing his desire to make the move permanent and the frustration that negotiations dragged on all through the summer.

There has finally been a breakthrough, as transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims this evening that Toro have agreed a deal with West Ham that is worth €12.7m.

That translates to roughly £11m for the Hammers.

It remains a huge loss considering the Premier League side paid €30m to purchase Vlasic from CSKA Moscow in the summer of 2021.

The Croatia international has seven goals in 50 senior caps for his country, along with three assists.

It is the second sale to Serie A for West Ham this week, after Gianluca Scamacca completed his transfer to Atalanta for €25m plus €5m in bonuses.
