Milan reportedly made new contact with Torino for Alessio Cerci, but it was the Rossoneri turning down a suggested deal this time.
The San Siro side have been in on-off talks with the Granata through the summer for their 27-year-old Italy international, but are seen as struggling to come up with funds to come close to Toro’s €20m valuation.
On from reports that earlier this week an increased offer of €12m was rejected, the Gazzetta dello Sport indicate that yesterday new contact was made between Adriano Galliani and Torino President Urbano Cairo.

On from reports that earlier this week an increased offer of €12m was rejected, the Gazzetta dello Sport indicate that yesterday new contact was made between Adriano Galliani and Torino President Urbano Cairo.
However, the pink daily suggests that this time it was Milan saying no to a potential deal.
It is understood that in yesterday’s talks, Cairo requested midfielder Bryan Cristante be included in a potential cash-plus-player deal for Cerci.
The Rossoneri are described as having ‘absolutely no intention’ of moving the youngster out and so are still working with Torino to find an alternative compensation package, to try to work out Cerci’s transfer.
Talks for Cerci come amid continued rumours in Italy and the UK over Liverpool having come in with an offer for Mario Balotelli.
