Serie A new boys Torino have finally signed Alessio Cerci from Fiorentina after weeks of negotiations.

The 25-year-old has joined the Granata on a co-ownership basis and he will train with his new club later today.

It is thought that Torino have handed over €2.5m for a 50 per cent share in him, as well as having the option to complete his full signing next summer.

The former Roma, Pisa and Atalanta player had his difficulties in Florence last season and was regularly criticised by some sections of the Viola fanbase for his form.

The attacker netted five goals in 23 games for the Stadio Franchi outfit in the past campaign.
