Marcus Thuram is one of the new arrivals at Inter this summer, but insists he has already discovered their team spirit. ‘This is a group that loves spending time together, on and off the field.’
The Frenchman scored the winner in last night’s 1-0 Champions League victory over Benfica at San Siro after Lautaro Martinez rattled the woodwork twice.
“We work very hard with Denzel Dumfries in training on this type of move and I am very happy to have scored this goal in front of our fans,” Thuram told Sky Sport Italia.
“I am a player who loves working with my teammates, learning from them and this is what I have found at Inter. It is a very, very united group and it is easy to become part of a squad with this kind of atmosphere.
“We are a group of players that loves spending time together, on and off the field. That is very important and we are all so eager to do well.”
