The youngster, on loan from Juventus this term, was sent off for Cavallucci Marini half an hour into the match with Inter on Sunday, for bringing down Rodrigo Palacio when through on goal.

The goalkeeper has been handed a three-game ban for his dismissal, though, for being reported for an ‘insulting expression’ made towards the fourth official about the match officials.

Meanwhile, Chievo’s Ivan Radovanovic is the only other player to pick up a suspension as a result of Week 8, for his two yellows picked up at home to Genoa.

Lazio pick up a €15,000 fine for one of their fans’ chants during the first half of their match against Torino deemed as ‘territorial discrimination’, and for fans launching firecrackers and flares towards the playing surface.

Cesena have been fined €3,000 for repeated chants during the defeat to Inter, deemed insulting towards the referee.
