The Nerazzurri President is looking for a way to balance the books after his Serie A campaign failed to secure Champions League qualification.

The plan involves selling 20 per cent of the club's stocks without giving up executive control, and Thohir is looking for foreign investors to make that happen.

“The world is more and more global and we're looking for strategic partners,” Thohir told Class CNBC. “The number of supporters is growing in Asia, in the USA and in Africa.

“It's necessary to find a partner, not for myself, but for the good of Inter.

“Right now we're analysing certain offers and there are a few groups we're talking to, but nothing has been done, and most importantly there is no signature.”
