The billionaire spoke to local media after the annual general meeting of his Viva Media company in Jakarta.
“If you ask me to comment on the negotiations in place with Inter, then I cannot talk about it. The matter is complicated and still on-going.
“It could last another month or two, without necessarily meaning it will reach a successful conclusion.
“I really can’t say anything, as the talks are proceeding. If you want me to talk about it, then it means you hope the negotiations will fail.”
Inter President Massimo Moratti has been adamant this is an investment opportunity and he will not be selling a majority share in the club.
Meanwhile, Moratti met with new Coach Walter Mazzarri today to thrash out a transfer strategy and the tactician will be presented to the media on Thursday afternoon.
