Thiago Motta maintains Spezia ‘deserved’ their 1-0 win over Torino and thanks the fans for their support during this difficult campaign.
The Liguria club dragged themselves at least temporarily out of the bottom three with this victory, earned thanks to a powerful finish from Jacopo Sala.
“We put in a great performance and it’s an important victory for us,” the coach told DAZN.
“I have always been positive and I thank the fans for their banner of support today. The lads deserved a win like this.

This was Spezia’s third Serie A win of the season, the second at home after beating Salernitana 2-1 on October 16.
