Lazio sporting director Igli Tare has denied rumours about Miroslav Klose rejoining Kaiserslautern in the Zweite Bundesliga.
The all-time World Cup top goalscorer has found himself behind Filip Djordjevic in the pecking order at the beginning of the season.
But Tare has denied any truth to rumours about a potential January transfer back to the Fritz-Walte-Stadion for the player, who played with the Roten Teufel between 1999 and 2004.
“I spoke to Miro exactly about this the other day,” Tare has told Sky Germany today.
“I know that his bond with Kaiserslautern is deep. But a transfer is not on the cards.”
