The Squali have spent the last few days in fiduciary isolation following a positive COVID-19 test for striker Denis Dragus, who returned from international duty with Romania.
“We continued our training routine in much the same way as previous weeks and used it as an opportunity to get to know each other better,” said the coach in his press conference.
“It was a good performance against Juventus and it’s important to gain consistency in terms of points as well as performances, so that was a good point to pick up.
“Now we take on Cagliari and the pressure is on to do everything better than the last time. We have to get points on the board and take the same attitude we saw against Juventus.
“I don’t have a first choice XI as such, I simply choose week by week which is the best available side for that game.”
Ahmad Benali and Emanuel Riviere return to the squad after injury, but will probably not start the match.
