Romelu Lukaku watched Inter’s win over Fiorentina on TV and posted his reaction on Instagram, while Hakan Calhanoglu asked the Nerazzurri fans ‘are you still alive?’
It was one of the craziest games in Serie A this season at the Stadi Franchi where Inter managed a 4-3 win thanks to a late Henrikh Mkhitaryan winner.
Fiorentina had recovered from two goals down and levelled the score for the second time at minute 90 thanks to a Luka Jovic strike, but it was still not enough for Vincenzo Italiano’s men to get a result in front of their fans.
The excitement on the pitch was mirrored by Inter players’ reactions on social media. Hakan Calhanoglu posted a picture on Instagram after the final whistle, telling Inter fans: ‘Let me know if you are still alive.’
Matteo Darmian and Milan Skriniar used the same word: ‘Pazza’ (crazy), while Francesco Acerbi posted a picture with the matchwinner.
Romelu Lukaku, who is expected to return to action in Champions League against Viktoria Plzen next week, watched the game on TV and posted his reaction in an Instagram story, where he said Inter deserved to get the three points.
