Frosinone Coach Roberto Stellone felt “immense joy” at securing their historic debut promotion into Serie A.
The Gialloblu beat Crotone 3-1 this afternoon to book their spot in the top flight with a second consecutive promotion.
“I feel immense joy at achieving this target,” former striker Stellone told reporters.
“I thank everyone who allowed this to happen, from my staff to the players. These results are down to the group.

“The great thing was not changing the identity of this side from Lega Pro, intervening with targeted signings.
“Everyone had a fantastic campaign and we put many factors together to achieve this.”
Frosinone are promoted along with Carpi, another minnow who has never been in Serie A. Did the best teams go up?
“Certainly the most consistent sides did.”
It's a huge achievement for Stellone too, as the former Genoa, Parma, Torino and Napoli striker won't turn 38 until July.
