"It was as if they parked a Boeing 777 or a ship in front of their goal," he jokingly told Inter Channel.
"Sampdoria created a couple of chances, but we never gave up.

"In the end it was a battle against time for us to score but then the goals arrived," added the midfielder.
"The side, with patience, responded well from the first minute until the last on a very heavy pitch. We came away with a great victory."
Inter moved to within just two points of leaders Milan and one point clear of Napoli before the two sides meet at San Siro tonight.
"Whatever happens we would have gained points on somebody," concluded the former Lazio idol.
