Dejan Stankovic has rejected the possibility of leaving Inter this summer after he was paired with a switch to the MLS.
“I’ve read that I’m apparently thinking of a move to America, but there is no truth in it,” the midfielder told Sportska Centrala.
“I have a contract at Inter for another two years and I’ll certainly remain. I’ve spoken to boss Andrea Stramaccioni and we are on the same wavelength.”
The former Lazio midfielder, signed in 2004, had an injury affected campaign which limited him to just 19 Serie A matches this term.
The 33-year-old was forced to have an operation on an Achilles’ heel problem recently, but he says he should be ready for the start of pre-season at the beginning of July.
